Our PTFE coated fiberglass Teflon sheets are designed to protect heat press platens and garments during heat transfer applications. These 5 mil thick sheets with a smooth finish help prevent adhesive, vinyl, plastisol, or pigment transfers from sticking to the press.
Teflon sheets act as a protective barrier between the heating element and your transfer, helping prevent sticky residue and protecting both the press and the substrate during production.
While commonly used for heat transfer vinyl and plastisol transfers, they are not required for dye sublimation applications.
